Kinhtedothi – With a sponsorship budget of 3 million Singapore dollars, for the first time the Group has launched a sponsorship program for projects to build strong communities at the regional level.
This is the first time that CapitaLand Group, one of Asia's largest diversified real estate groups headquartered in Singapore, has launched a regional community building grant program. The funding will be awarded to outstanding projects by non-profit organizations in Singapore, India, China and Vietnam, focusing on education, healthcare and welfare, to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children and youth in Vietnam.
The program marks CHF’s 20th anniversary of community sharing. The initiative was announced at the Southeast Asia Summit of AVPN – the region’s largest social investor network. This is also CapitaLand’s partner in implementing this program.
“CapitaLand for Strong Communities Initiative” equips disadvantaged children and adolescents with the skills, knowledge and resources to help them build resilience and build a sustainable and equitable future.
Since 2005, CHF has been working to build strong, connected and compassionate communities and to foster partnerships with like-minded organisations to create positive and long-term impacts. With its extensive network and expertise in charitable fund management, AVPN will play a key role in identifying potential organisations and supporting the implementation of positive and effective solutions.
Non-profit organisations operating in China, India, Singapore and Vietnam can apply from now until 25 April 2025. Applications will be assessed based on their social impact, value proposition and feasibility in the four markets where CapitaLand operates.

This initiative also opens up opportunities for us to connect with partners who share the same vision, spreading human values through solutions on social capital, social infrastructure and social inclusion. Through the projects selected from this initiative, we hope to create positive social impacts in the communities where CapitaLand is present.”

With this initiative, CapitaLand continues to reaffirm its commitment to working with the community, expanding its efforts to build resilience and engaging with like-minded organisations to increase social impact. Since 2005, CHF has supported over 520,000 beneficiaries, including children, youth and seniors from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As at 31 December 2024, the Foundation has contributed over S$64 million and funded over 150 initiatives with global partners.
CapitaLand Group’s philanthropic arm (CapitaLand Hope Foundation – CHF) was established in 2005. As a philanthropic organization, the foundation aims to build strong communities where the Group has a presence, through activities supporting education, health and social security for children, adolescents and the elderly.
In addition to fundraising, the fund also supports volunteering as an essential part of building an inclusive and loving community.
