The funding will be awarded to outstanding projects by non-profit organizations in Singapore, India, China and Vietnam, focusing on education, healthcare and welfare, to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children and youth in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>The program marks CHF\u2019s 20th anniversary of community sharing. The initiative was announced at the Southeast Asia Summit of AVPN \u2013 the region\u2019s largest social investor network. With its extensive network and expertise in charitable fund management, AVPN will play a key role in identifying potential organisations and supporting the implementation of positive and effective solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Non-profit organisations operating in China, India, Singapore and Vietnam can apply from now until 25 April 2025. Applications will be assessed based on their social impact, value proposition and feasibility in the four markets where CapitaLand operates.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Miguel Ko \u2013 Chairman of CHF and CapitaLand Investment shared: \u201cOver the past 20 years, CHF has been steadfast in its mission to uplift communities and create positive change. We believe that a strong community is the foundation for sustainable development. With the funding of S$3 million from the \u2018CapitaLand for Strong Communities Initiative\u2019, we hope to provide resources and support to individuals and families in need.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative also opens up opportunities for us to connect with partners who share the same vision, spreading human values \u200b\u200bthrough solutions on social capital, social infrastructure and social inclusion. We believe that this initiative will contribute to driving positive and sustainable change across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With this initiative, CapitaLand continues to reaffirm its commitment to working with the community, expanding its efforts to build resilience and engaging with like-minded organisations to increase social impact. Since 2005, CHF has supported over 520,000 beneficiaries, including children, youth and seniors from disadvantaged backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>As at 31 December 2024, the Foundation has contributed over S$64 million and funded over 150 initiatives with global partners.<\/p>\n<p>CapitaLand Group\u2019s philanthropic arm (CapitaLand Hope Foundation \u2013 CHF) was established in 2005.
